Je suis un semi-passionné d’aviation : bien que non-pilote (et pas du tout candidat à le devenir), j’ai écrit et illustré plein de livres et sites Internet consacrés aux avions n’existant pas, aux maquettes sans modèles-sources, etc. Mais sur Internet, ça se passe très mal, car autrui réaliste me condamne et cela produit des disputes.
   Le cas le plus décevant peut-être est le site « SecretProjects.co.uk » consacré par des semi-réalistes aux vrais projets aéronautiques industriels n’ayant pas eu de succès ni construction effective. J’en étais un membre actif jusqu’à ce que je sois choqué par les instructions partielles de respecter la vérité historique, spécifiquement concernant l’aviation nazie relevant de la Loi Gayssot contre tout avis hérétique au sujet de la Shoah de près ou de très très loin. C’était dans les années 2010. Je suis parti, dégoûté, insulté malhonnêtement (certes en accord avec la loi française malhonnête, dictatoriale sans l’avouer). Mais des amis membres m’ont souvent incité à revenir, et j’ai longtemps répondu « non merci », mais cette année 2023 (m’a-t-on signalé, à juste titre) a été réactivé un sujet de 2006 consacré à mon livre aéronautique principal et dit en mon honneur, où un membre s’inquiétait de ma santé physique (j’ai effectivement 4 cancers : dos gauche, poumon gauche, fesse gauche, poumon droit), puis un sujet de 2012 a été réactivé avec pour titre ma passion particulière (les avions bipoutres). J’ai alors recommencé à participer. Quoique à ma façon, associant ce que je lisais chez les historiens avec une part personnelle de rêve, marqué en clair sur mes illustrations. Mais, de nouveau, j’ai rencontré une hostilité excluante. Voulant que je m’en aille de la partie principale pour me cantonner à une zone poubelle qu’ils accordent à l’imagination libre. En traitant mes dessins de « fake » (faux, truqué, feint, falsifié, imposture, contrefait, frauduleux, mensonger, tromperie, etc.). J’ai répondu que d’accord, je m’en vais cette fois pour toujours, qu’eux réalistes soient heureux avec leur intolérance pleine et fière.
   Mais ici, je vais argumenter pour expliquer que j’ai raison et ils ont tort (selon moi, certes, mais arguments à l’appui) :
1/ Selon les hyperréalistes aérophiles ne s’intéressant qu’aux avions produits en série : se pencher sur ce qui s’est avéré raté ou non satisfaisant, c’est tout du fake au lieu du sérieux historique indispensable selon eux. Les semi-réalistes de SecretProjects ne sont donc pas à l’abri de la très contestable accusation de fake, cela devrait les inciter à manipuler cette accusation avec précaution, mais non, ils foncent méchamment en la récupérant, en l’employant contre les irréalistes sans rien comprendre au problème.
2/ Ce que j’expliquais en partant, c’est que n’est pas « fake » (mensonge) un rêve marqué en clair et ne prétendant en rien à la véracité. N’est pas mensonger un livre de science-fiction, un dessin-animé, certes ce n’est nullement du « vrai », mais ce n’est en rien du « menteusement prétendu vrai », accusation tenant de l’injure et du non-sens oubliant de penser. De même, une œuvre d’art de 1975 dépeignant l’avion Concorde aux couleurs de la célèbre compagnie étasunienne Pan-Am, ce qui était à l’époque un futur possible, peut être montrée maintenant avec le sourire : il ne s’agit en rien de rien d’affirmer que Pan-Am a acheté et exploité cet appareil, non, c’est une réalité alternative qui n’est pas advenue finalement, regardable aujourd’hui avec le sourire sans hurler au scandale. De même, un concurrent malheureux au concours étasunien de chasseur léger 1975 peut être dessiné avec les marques de service actif, ce qui est de l’imagination pure, mais cela peut être trouvé plaisant sans qu’il y ait là scandale à proscrire au nom du mensonge. Des rêves ont pu exister, et on peut en faire maintenant anachroniquement, c’est une simple prolongation du principe de préférer les projets abandonnés avant construction aux archiconnus succès vus partout en photos.
3/ Plusieurs membres de SecretProjects sont des talentueux dessinateurs présentant avec détails les avions non-construits, et parfois ou souvent, le niveau de détails (en lignes de structure ou en nombre de rivets) est de la pure imagination personnelle, simplement possible, or cela n’est pas compté fake, c’est incohérent avec le sort qui m’est asséné. C’est comme si tout était permis aux leaders mais interdit aux humbles, cela est politiquement horrible.
4/ Le prétendu réel, sérieux, dit devoir écraser le rêve délirant, c’est une bêtise philosophique. Au 17e siècle en France, René Descartes (avec son doute cartésien) a très bien exprimé « l’hypothèse du rêve » : que croire si le présent monde peut être mon rêve avant réveil prochain (dans le vrai réel, Le Réel) ? Mais sa réponse constructive est totalement nulle, illogique et fanatique religieuse pour l’emporter avec la puissance des Inquisiteurs (qui ce siècle-là persécutaient Galilée). Philosophiquement, et c’était l’objet du premier livre que j’ai écrit, il n’y a aucune réponse. L’affirmation « telle chose est le réel » n’est qu’un choix, peut-être faux, l’affirmer « vérité indéniable » est une erreur franche. Cela abat la fierté abusive des champions du Réel qui (s’ils existent sans n’être que des marionnettes de mon rêve) doivent se retrouver tout bêtes quand ils se réveillent après certains rêves où ils ont cru mordicus à du faux, en fait. Bref, cette dictature du prétendu Réel me semble avoir 6 ans d’âge mental, se croyant à tort hyper-sérieuse et focalisée sur le très crédible. Non, la lucidité est ailleurs, humble (et possiblement créative) au contraire.
4'/ (Ajout 11/03/2023) Si une objection est qu'avoir perdu le sens humain de la Réalité constitue une maladie mentale, la schizophrénie, je l'entends mais j'ai démontré par pure logique que c'est un scandale, chassant les logiciens comme fous comme en URSS quoique de manière moins célèbre. C'était aussi une partie de mon premier livre, maintenant complété en un gros site Internet. Insulter comme fou sert essentiellement à refuser de réfléchir honnêtement.

I am semi-passionate about aviation: although not a pilot (and not at all a candidate to become one), I have written and illustrated many books and websites devoted to planes that do not exist, to models without true sources, etc. But on the Internet, it goes very badly, because the other ones are realist, condemn me, and that leads to disputes. Perhaps the most disappointing case is the “SecretProjects.co.uk” site devoted by semi-realists to real industrial aeronautical projects that have not been successful or actually built. I was an active member of it until I was shocked by the partial instructions to respect historical truth, specifically concerning Nazi aviation following the French Gayssot Law against any heretical opinion about the Holocaust, any German plane project of 1945 being classified as a true genocidal monster). It was in the 2010s. I left, disgusted, dishonestly insulted (admittedly in accordance with the French law which is dishonest, dictatorial without admitting it). But member friends have often encouraged me to come back, and I have replied "no thank you", during a long time, but this year 2023 (I have been told, rightly) was revived a topic from 2006 devoted to my main aeronautical book and said in my honor, where a member was concerned about my physical health (I actually have 4 cancers: left back, left lung, left buttock, right lung), then a subject from 2012 was reactivated with the title being my particular passion (twin-boom aircraft). I then started participating again. Although in my own way, associating what I read from historians with a personal part of dream, clearly marked on my illustrations. But, again, I encountered an excluding hostility. Wanting me to get away from the main part and stick to a trash area that they have built for free imagination. By treating my drawings as "fake" (false, feigned, falsified, imposture, counterfeit, fraudulent, misleading, deception, etc.).
But here, I will argue to explain that I am right and they are wrong (according to me, of course, but supporting arguments):
1/ According to aerophile hyperrealists only interested in mass-produced aircraft: focusing on what failed as unsatisfactory is fake instead of the essential historical seriousness according to them. The semi-realists of SecretProjects are therefore not immune to the very questionable accusation of fake, this should encourage them to handle this accusation with precaution, but no, they hurry wickedly in recovering it, using it against the unrealists without understanding the problem.
2/ What I was explaining when I went away is that a dream that is clearly marked and does not claim to be true is not “fake”. A science fiction book, a cartoon, is not a lie, certainly it is not at all "true", but it is in no way "lyingly claimed to be true", an accusation that is insulting and non-sense forgetting to think. Similarly, a 1975 work of art depicting the Concorde airplane in the colors of the famous American company Pan-Am, which was at the time a possible future, can now be shown with a smile: it is not to affirm that Pan-Am bought and exploited this plane, no, it is an alternative reality which did not finally happen, watchable today with a smile without screaming scandal. Likewise, an unsuccessful contestant in the 1975 US light fighter competition may be drawn with the marks of active service, which is pure imagination, but it may be found pleasing without there being any scandal to be outlawed in the name of a lie. Dreams could have existed, and we can now make them anachronistically, it's a simple extension of the principle of preferring projects abandoned before construction rather than well-known successes seen everywhere in photos.
3/ Several members of SecretProjects are talented designers presenting unbuilt aircraft in detail, and sometimes or often, the level of detail (in structure lines or number of rivets) is pure personal imagination, simply possible, and it's not counted fake, it's inconsistent with the fate that struck me. It's as if everything was allowed to the leaders but forbidden to the humble, which is politically horrible.
4/ The so-called Real, serious, pretending to crush the delirious dream, is a philosophical stupidity. In the 17th century in France, René Descartes (with his Cartesian doubt) very well expressed “the dream hypothesis”: what to believe if the present world can be my dream before next awakening (in the true real, The Real)? But his constructive response is totally useless, illogical and fanatically religious {in the Catholic way] to prevail with the power of the Inquisitors (who that century persecuted Galileo). Philosophically, and this was the subject of the first book I wrote, there is no answer. The affirmation "such thing is real" is only a choice, perhaps false, to affirm it "undeniable truth" is a frank error. This cuts down the abusive pride of the champions of the Real who (if they exist without being only puppets of my dream) must find themselves quite stupid when they wake up after certain dreams in which they have stubbornly believed in falsehood, in fact. In short, this dictatorship of the so-called Real seems to me to have 6 years of mental age, wrongly believing itself to be hyper-serious and focused on the very believable. No, lucidity is elsewhere, humble (and possibly creative) on the contrary.
4'/ (Addition 2023/03/11) if an opposing argument is that loosing the Human sense of Reality is genuine madness, schizophrenia, I hear that but I have demonstrated by logic this is a scandal, chasing away logicians as mentally ill like in the USSR but in a less famous way. This was also a part of my first book, now completed in a big website. Insulting as crazy is mainly used to avoid thinking over honnestly.
